Retail Grocery Assistant with potential for growth.

DeMaria’s Grocer are seeking a full time grocery dept assistant. It may sound boring, but it’s actually really fun! We’re looking for someone with a true passion for sourcing new products, with a finger on the consumer pulse.

Role includes:

Weekly ordering and receiving of goods

Stock management

Visual Merchandising

Managing current Distributor relationships and fostering new ones

The successful candidate should possess:

An interest in gourmet groceries. What new products are in vogue? What trends are shaping shopping habits? What are local producers up to?

The ability to work collaboratively in a team, sharing ideas and supporting one another

Customer service experience

Ideally this role would suit someone with experience in Gourmet grocery procurement and merchandising. The right candidate may negotiate their wage.

Weekend availability essential.
