About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacist to join our Rosebery Pharmacy Tasmania at SNF Health Services PTY LTD' as Pharmacist Manager. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the pharmacy operations at our Rosebery Pharmacy Tasmania. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services to our customers and clients.

What you'll be doing

Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing, webster packing, ordering and managing stock and inventory, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations

Provide expert pharmaceutical advice and counselling and support to the wider multidisciplinary healthcare team, collaborating closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals

Conduct MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck, provide patient education, and monitor the efficacy and safety of medication regimens

Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance the quality and efficiency of pharmacy services

Effectively communicate with patients, caregivers, and the broader healthcare community to ensure the best possible patient outcomes

Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacy services

What we're looking for

Registered Pharmacist with a current AHPRA licence and at least 3 years of post-registration experience

Demonstrated expertise in the management and supervision of a pharmacy including inventory control, quality assurance, and ability to work independently

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with patients, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders

Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality, patient-centred care

Commitment to ongoing professional development and a passion for staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices

Experience working in a healthcare setting, particularly in the aged care or long-term care sector, would be highly regarded
