Occupational Hygienist – Sydney

This isn’t your typical Occupational Hygiene role.

I’m working with a specialist business that offers a fully integrated approach to managing temporary hazards on major projects. Think consulting, engineering advice, monitoring, on-site testing, reporting, and even the installation and servicing of control equipment — all under one roof.

The role itself is highly diverse and field-based. One day you’ll be on-site conducting silica exposure monitoring, and the next you’ll be validating control systems on a large infrastructure project. You’ll also get involved in preparing management plans, advising on hazard controls, and delivering clear, evidence-based reports.

What You’ll Do

Develop & certify management plans (e.g. CNVMP, CDMP, AQMP, Silica Risk Plans)

Conduct on-site occupational hygiene monitoring (silica, dust, fumes, noise, vibration)

Validate hazard controls and recommend best-practice solutions

Prepare technical reports and compliance documentation

Provide training & support to clients and internal teams

About You

Degree in Occupational Hygiene, Environmental Science, or related field

4+ years of relevant and varied occupational hygiene experience

Solid understanding of WHS legislation & SafeWork codes of practice

Strong monitoring, analysis & reporting skills

Confident communicator who can engage with clients on-site

Flexibility to travel when required
