We are a not-for-profit charity dedicated to ensuring our community has access to the best possible health care when it’s needed most.

Gold Coast Hospital Foundation is looking for a passionate and proactive Marketing & Communications Coordinator to join our small, purpose-driven team. Working closely with the Head of Marketing, you’ll help deliver high-impact campaigns, engaging content, and meaningful events that raise awareness, drive fundraising, and connect people to our cause. This is your chance to use your skills to make a real difference in our local community.

Your key responsibilities include:

Digital Marketing: Plan and execute paid ad campaigns, manage social media, update website content, and analyse performance across all digital channels.

Content Creation: Craft compelling stories, blogs, media releases, and marketing materials that connect emotionally and drive engagement.

Campaign Coordination: Develop and implement multi-channel marketing strategies to promote events, services, and partnerships.

Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with ambassadors, hospital teams, and external suppliers to amplify our message and brand.

Reporting & Analysis: Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights to improve outcomes.

About you:

You're a creative marketing and communications all-rounder who's not afraid to get in and get things done. With at least 2 years' experience, you're confident in designing and executing engaging social media content, writing compelling blogs, and capturing stories through photography that connects with people.

You're passionate about brand and storytelling, committed to making a real difference and always ready to jump in and support wherever needed. You thrive in a role where you can grow your skills, bring fresh ideas to life, and play a part in delivering campaigns that truly impact your community.

To be successful in this position you will require:

Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Demonstrated success in digital marketing, social media, and email campaigns

Excellent writing skills with a strong ability to tell engaging, emotive stories

Proficiency in Canva and basic design platforms

A proactive, creative thinker with strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Confident communicator with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships

Willingness to occasionally work outside standard hours for fundraising events

Understanding of the Gold Coast market

Why join us:
