Wedding & Events Coordinator and Admin Assistant – Registered Celebrant Pathway 📍 South Yarra, Melbourne (On-site only – applicants must already be Melbourne-based) 💰 $30–35/hr weekdays (admin & celebrant work) | $50/hr weekends (registered celebrants conducting ceremonies, min. 4 hrs).

We are Melbourne’s largest independent marriage advisory & wedding registry outside the Government’s BDM Victoria with a high focus on customer service. With over 15 years’ reputation for professionalism and true customer service and care, we are seeking a polished, presentable, people-focused team member to join our boutique South Yarra ceremony room and office.

Only permanent residents or Australian citizens are legally eligible to become an authorised Commonwealth registered Marriage Celebrant.

✨ The Role

Client servicing: enquiries, bookings, assisting with legal paperwork (NOIM),

client calls & emails

Event hosting, schedule coordination, Office Administration and conduct registry ceremonies.

If a registered celebrant: conduct ceremonies (weekend shifts $50/hr, min. 4

hrs)

Highly flexible hours: 2 to 6 days per week, roster changes weekly based on client bookings (we operate 7 days)

Dynamic, organised, and confident with people from all cultures

Presentable, professional and client-focused — you represent our registry

front-of-house

Strong admin/organisational skills; computer savvy (Word, Excel; social media and marketing a bonus)

Ideally a Registered Marriage Celebrant, or open to training (we could

sponsor official RTO training for the right dynamic individual)
