About the role
Seeking a Business Analyst to join a government department that manages a large asset portfolio and delivers essential infrastructure services.
As a Business Analyst, you will work with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into clear requirements for dashboards, reports, and data solutions. You will support workshops, create user stories, prepare wireframes, and ensure solutions meet agreed outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements in plain language.
• Document user stories and validate through workshops and wireframes.
• Support development teams in building dashboards, reports, and data products
• Prepare test cases, coordinate UAT, and validating data accuracy
• Contribute to information governance uplift

Required skills

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in government.
• Strong experience in dashboards, reporting, and data-driven products.
• Agile delivery experience.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Power BI, or similar tools.
• Strong communication and documentation skills
