• 2+12+12 month contract - immediate start

Our client, a large Federal Government Organisation, tasked with defending Australia and its national interests, require the services of a System Engineer.

Duties of the System Engineer

• Review technical ICT engineering documentation, proving fit-for-purpose feedback & addressing identified risks;
• Review technical governance ensuring effective management and alignment of client and partner objectives;
• Work within a sophisticated project ICT infrastructure environment servicing ad-hoc system support request where required by the client.

Skills and Experience Required

• Experience working with deployed ICT infrastructure (preferably within a defence environment);
• Proven ability in providing system engineering documentation;
• ability to review ICT system engineering documentation to provide feedback and address risks;
• Knowledge of / experience with VMware Technologies, Dell hardware, Linux & Windows (desired);
• Experience working within a defence project environment or military experience is highly desired.
