The Role:

Derm Skin Specialists is a new Dermatology clinic based at Mount Gravatt. Our team consists of Specialists, Clinical Assistants and admin/reception staff.

We are looking for an experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team full time.

Job Overview:

The Dermatology Receptionist role will assist dermatologists in providing high-quality dermatological care to patients. This role involves administrative, and patient-facing responsibilities, maintaining patient records, and ensuring smooth daily operations of the dermatology practice. There may also be some ad-hoc clinical assisting required on occasion.

About You:

This is a full-time position with good regular hours. The position is located at our rooms in Mount Gravatt. You will need to be a team player, have a friendly disposition with colleagues and patients, be able to take and follow instructions as well as being a self-starter - using your initiative and logic.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Administrative Tasks:

Meet and greet patients

Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits.

Answer patient calls, respond to inquiries, and handle patient referrals.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR).

Process insurance claims, verify coverage, and coordinate billing information.

Order medical supplies and equipment as needed.

Patient Co-ordination

Recording notes, writing quotes, discussing fees

Data entry via Xestro medical software
