Orange Christian School is seeking a committed and experienced Academic Support Coordinator (K–12) to lead our Academic Growth Centre. This full-time, permanent position offers a meaningful opportunity to support students with diverse learning needs in a Christ-centred school environment.

About the Role

As part of our Executive Coordinator Team, the Academic Support Coordinator leads a team of support staff, manages learning support programs, develops and implements School Care Plans, liaises with allied health professionals, and plays a critical role in fostering a whole-school culture of inclusive, Christ-centred education.

You Will:

Oversee learning support and enrichment from Prep–Year 12

Lead a team of Academic Support Officers and Teachers

Coordinate Individual Education Plans and NCCD compliance

Work alongside families, staff, and external specialists

Uphold and model the Christian ethos of the school

What You’ll Need:

A deep, active Christian faith

NESA teacher registration + WWCC

Experience in learning support or special education

Strong understanding of inclusive education frameworks (DSE, NCCD)

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
