About the role
The School of Health is seeking experienced and dedicated Course Coordinators to join our team. As a Course Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth delivery of our vocational education and training (VET) programs. Working part-time from our office in Perth, you will be responsible for coordinating the administrative and operational aspects of our VET courses, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
What you'll be doing
Oversee the day-to-day coordination of VET courses, including timetabling, student enrolments, and resource management
Liaise with teaching staff, students, and external stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
Ensure course content and assessment activities are aligned with industry standards and regulatory requirements
Develop and implement strategies to improve course delivery and student outcomes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date course records and documentation
Assist with the development and revision of course materials and resources
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our VET programs
What we're looking for
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in a similar course coordination or administration role within the education and training sector
Strong understanding of VET sector regulations, policies, and best practices
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders
Proficient in the use of relevant software and information management systems, such as aXcellerate.
