About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Cincotta Discount Chemist Auburn in Auburn, NSW 2144. This is a full-time position, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the daily operations of our pharmacy.

What you'll be doing

Assisting customers with their pharmaceutical and healthcare needs, including processing prescriptions, over-the-counter sales, and providing product information and advice

Maintaining accurate inventory and stock control, ensuring the pharmacy is well-stocked and organised

Performing administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, and general office duties to support the smooth running of the pharmacy

Collaborating with the pharmacy team to deliver a high standard of customer care and ensure efficient workflows

Adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations, policies, and procedures

What we're looking for

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a customer-facing role within the healthcare or retail industry

Minimum 6 months' experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or 1+ years in customer-facing healthcare/retail roles

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent customer service

Excellent organisational and multi-tasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail

A passion for healthcare and a commitment to providing the best possible care to our customers

A team player who is flexible and adaptable to the changing needs of the business

Current Pharmacy Assistant qualifications or a willingness to obtain relevant training

Certificate II or III in Community Services (Pharmacy Assistant) or S2 & S3 training completed
