A growing Renewable Energy business in a scale-up phase are seeking a Financial Controller to support the CFO, responsible for the day-to-day running of the finance function.

About the role

Reporting into the CFO, this hands-on role will see you manage the finance function end-to-end, supported by a part-time Bookkeeper. You'll take ownership of financial reporting, compliance and cash flow, while partnering with leadership to drive business performance.

Responsibilities include

Lead preparation of financial statements and consolidated reports

Oversee AP, AR, Payroll, BAS and PAYGW

Manage budgeting, forecasting and cash flow modelling

Ensure tax compliance and support ERP/process improvements

Build strong relationships with auditors, advisors and senior stakeholders

Skills and Experience

• CA/CPA Qualified
• Proven experiencein a similar 'hands-on' envronment
• Strong systems knowledge and experience using Xero
• Excellent stakeholder management
• Experience working within the energy sector
