This is a rare opportunity for a mission-driven, execution-oriented leader with deep strategic insight and strong business finance experience.

Fly2health is scaling rapidly as a for-profit health provider delivering National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) services to some of Australia’s most remote communities. You will be working with the executive team and board to achieve group strategic outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the end-to-end finance function and teams of 5 (on and offshore) including financial reporting, debtor management, AP/AR risk management, forecasting, and budgeting.

Oversee regulatory compliance, including NDIS financial regulations, corporate governance, and audit processes.

Drive strategic financial planning to support growth, service innovation, and operational scalability.

Implement and enhance existing systems, technology, and reporting processes.

Provide actionable insights to support executive and board-level decision-making.

Manage relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, funders, banks, and regulatory bodies.

Mentor and develop finance team members to build organisational capability.

Work cross-functionally to ensure financial alignment across operations, service delivery, and strategy.

Key Requirements:

CPA/CA qualification with at least 10 years’ senior finance experience.

Demonstrated success as a senior Financial Controller in a mid-to-large organisation (100+ staff).

Deep understanding of financial compliance, risk management, and regulatory reporting requirements.

Proven experience leading or overseeing the compliance remit in a dynamic, regulated environment.

Strong systems and technology acumen with a track record of leading finance system improvements or transformations.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement and leadership communication skills.

Highly Desirable:

Direct experience with NDIS funding models, compliance obligations, and financial operations.

Background in healthcare, disability services, or related human services sector.
