This well-established and growing manufacturing business is seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to lead its accounting function within a privately owned, SME environment. Your new role

• Take control of the accounting function for a small group of companies
  
• Prepare and lodge consolidated financial reports
  
• Manage all statutory obligations, internal controls and governance
  
• Oversee cashflow and maintain all ledgers
  
• Prepare annual budgets and maintain reporting dashboards/KPIs
  
• Manage payroll, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations
  
• Oversee and manage a small team
  
• Facilitate weekly/monthly reporting cycles
  

What you'll need to succeed

• CPA or CA qualification
  
• Significant experience in a senior accounting role with broad responsibility
  
• Background within small to medium-sized companies
  
• Experience working for a company selling products or services into the US market
  
• Ability to cover compliance, regulatory needs, financial reporting and audits
  
• Ability to lead a small team and engage with business owners
