About the role

Are you passionate about recreation and enhancing community wellbeing? Join us as our Senior Community Development Officer for Recreation across Towong Shire.

In this exciting role, you'll lead the planning and implementation of engaging programs that foster community connections and promote healthy lifestyles. You'll work on improving our recreational facilities to meet the diverse needs of our growing community. You’ll also collaborate with local clubs, organisations, and government bodies to create vibrant spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Your ability to inspire community involvement will be essential, as you'll support local groups and ensure access to a variety of recreational activities. Additionally, you'll help maximise resources by recommending and applying for grants that fund innovative projects and enhance facility usage.

You'll also take charge of managing the Towong Shire Swimming Pools, coordinating community access, and ensuring a safe, enjoyable environment for all.
