This a no frills advert, and will only appeal to those who

(a) hold an unrestricted legal practicing certificate and want to complete ad hoc commercial legal work and earn $180 per hour + GST on time based matters or 45% + GST of fixed fee billing matters;

(b) are not interested in career progression preferring a self sustainable path being a legal consultant;

(c) don't want to do admin, business development or marketing tasks;

(d) still want to be part of a colleague network and be supported where necessary and not stand alone;

(e) want to be able to take as much time off as you want without having to ask anyone's permission to do so;

(f) are disciplined enough to work from home and understand that it is a joy and privilege to do so; and

(g) (optional) are open to supervising mature aged graduates who can benefit from your experience as they develop their own pathways.

What I have described above I have had in place for over 12 years now, my law firm offers a licensing program for those want to operate their own legal practice business and offers ongoing new client matters for those consultants who want the flexibility of time and choose their work load.

There is an opportunity now to expand the my law firm independent lawyer consultant base, and I am looking for a key person who wants to be part of the my law firm team to practice commercial law.

It's imperative that you don't need supervision and can run your own files with admin support only, are accessible on a daily basis and can reliably service new and existing clients and if possible (optional), supervise mature aged lawyers subject of supervision requirements.
