About the role
The National Product Catalogue (NPC) enables suppliers to maintain and share accurate product and item information with all trading partners in real time and the successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the full development lifecycle of NPC-related applications that are developed externally.
This hybrid role is perfect for someone who loves tackling problems, thrives on variety, and enjoys working across both business and technical functions. You’ll get to be hands-on and make an impact across a wide range of areas, including but not limited to technical delivery & support, requirements gathering, deployment coordination, UAT planning and execution and go-live smoke testing.
Examples of day-to-day tasks include:
Conducting workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather and analyse business requirements.
Documenting processes, writing change requests, user stories, and technical specifications.
Generating supporting documentation such as XLS and XML files.
Coordinating deployment timing with technology partners and communicating outcomes to stakeholders.
Providing L2 technical support and assisting with mailbox/system monitoring and mapping solutions.
Maintaining comprehensive documentation to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
Some OOO work may be required to support go-live deployment testing.
What we're looking for
To be successful in your application, a must is your prior hands-on experience with JSON and APIs.
In addition, our ideal candidate will possess:
2 + years experience working as a Business, Test or Systems Analyst role or similar.
Previous hand's on experience working with systems, generating supporting files (XLS, XML), and planning and executing UAT and go-live smoke testing.
Demonstrated ability to to run workshops, gather requirements, document processes, and write clear change requests/user stories.
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
Excellent verbal and written skills for liaising with stakeholders across the business and providing clear updates.
Ability to work effectively with internal teams, technology partners, and external stakeholders.
Capable of managing competing priorities and occasionally working outside business hours for go-live activities.
Exposure to JIRA and Confluence would be highly regarded.
