Trades Assistant / General Hand – Caravan Assembly MDC Camper Trailers & Offroad Caravans

MDC are expanding, and we’re looking for enthusiastic, practical, and motivated individuals to join our production team in Coopers Plains.

This role is perfect for someone handy with tools who enjoys hands-on work and is keen to be involved in assembling caravans and related workshop tasks.

Whether you’re an experienced tradesperson or simply mechanically minded and eager to learn, this is your chance to build your skills in a supportive team environment where no two days are the same.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you:

· Are confident using (or keen to learn) hand and power tools

· Enjoy practical, hands-on work

· Work well in a team environment

· Can follow instructions and stay organised

· Have an eye for detail and quality workmanship

· Are physically fit and ready to roll up your sleeves

· Hold a valid Australian driver’s licence

· Have previous trade, assembly, or workshop experience (preferred but not essential)

· Are safety conscious, reliable, and proactive

What You’ll Be Doing

With training provided, you’ll assist with a wide range of caravan assembly and workshop duties, including:

· Fitting and assembling caravan components and accessories

· Basic plumbing and electrical fit-outs (12V)

· General maintenance and repairs on caravans

· Pre-delivery inspections for new and used vans

· Cleaning, detailing, and presentation of caravans

· Workshop support and assembly-related tasks
