About the role

R&M Marine is seeking a full-time Boat Trailer/Caravan Mechanic/Repairer to join our team in Lytton, Queensland. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and servicing of boat trailers and caravans. As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are well-maintained and running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

Performing routine maintenance and repairs on boat trailers and caravans, including brakes, suspensions, wheel bearings, and other mechanical components

Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions

Conducting thorough inspections and providing detailed reports on the condition of vehicles

Ensuring all work is completed to a high standard and in compliance with industry regulations and safety standards

Maintaining detailed records of all work performed

Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

What we're looking for

Proven experience as a Boat Trailer/Caravan Mechanic or Repairer, preferably within the automotive or marine industry

Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

Knowledge of boat trailer and caravan components, systems, and repair procedures

Ability to work efficiently and accurately with attention to detail

Good communication skills

Valid driver's license
