Fetch Recruitment are currently looking to speak to Health & Safety Officers within Shepparton for exceptional Tier 3 builder in the commercial construction space.

The Builder:

• A company with over a century of years industry exposure and a true Victoria industry leader in the commercial construction space.
• Projects varying in size, valuing anywhere up to $50m.
• Excellent history of delivering complex projects in the commercial, education and health sectors.

The Role:

• Full time Health & Safety officer, first protocol will be to uphold a safe workplace.
• 50/50 Split of completing safety duties and general labouring.
• Working collaboratively with site managers/project managers with upkeeping a safe project.
• Fully hands on position that will require labouring / Peggy duties.
• Review/report on matters pertaining to OH&S on site.
• Effectively communicate with site management team to assist with daily on-site tasks including toolbox talks, site inductions and daily pre starts.
• Review sub-contractor SWMS.
• Conduct on site safety audits.
• Effective administration and communication with subbies, project management and client/s

Must have:

• 3 years+ experience in a similar OH&S/WHS/HSR role
• Minimum of Certificate III in OHS.
• Experience using Hammertech or a similar safety software.
• Must have strong computer and communication skills.
• Experience working within construction (Commercial experience highly regarded)
• Excellent Understanding of OH&S procedures and protocols.
