The Role

We are seeking a Senior Adviser - Diversity & Inclusion to join a State Government organisation on a contract until January 2026 with a potential to extend. Reporting to the Manager, Employee Relations and Inclusion, you will lead the design and delivery of DEI initiatives that strengthen leadership capability, team effectiveness, and organisational culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of DEI Action Plans, including Gender Equality, Aboriginal Strategy, and Disability Access & Inclusion
• Partner with Employee Led Networks and leaders to progress initiatives and support advocacy
• Deliver the 2025 Gender Pay Audit and meet statutory reporting requirements

About You

• Proven experience in a DEI-focused project or advisory role, ideally in government
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and consulting skills
• Ability to translate evidence and data into clear recommendations
• Knowledge of contemporary DEI principles, accessibility, and psychological safety
