Our success is built on more than just great food — it’s driven by our people. With a team of over 110 passionate hospitality professionals and growing, we are now seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to support our people operations and play a vital role in Wingboy’s next growth stage.
The Role
The HR Coordinator will provide day-to-day support across all areas of HR including recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and training. Working closely with the CEO, Operations team, and Venue Managers, you’ll help ensure our venues are fully staffed, our people are compliant, and our team culture continues to thrive.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that’s perfect for someone who’s organised, proactive, and passionate about people.
Key Responsibilities
Recruitment & Onboarding
Lead end-to-end recruitment across the group (ads, screening, interviews)s
Build strong pipelines for FOH & BOH management roles.
Oversee onboarding, contracts, and induction programs
Ensure RSA, WHS, and food safety compliance for all new hires.
Assist with Visa applications
Building professional relationships with local TAFE’s, school’s & universities as a recruitment channel
Compliance & Employee Relations
· Ensure compliance with Fair Work Act, Restaurant Industry Award, WHS and Visa obligations.
· Manage HR files, contracts, and employee records.
· Staff training & compliance through safety culture
· Provide support and guidance on employee issues, grievances, and performance management.
· Assist with investigations, grievances & performance management processes
· Support workers’ compensation and return-to-work cases.
HR Systems & Processes
Keep the Wingboy Handbook updated with policies and procedures.
Prepare & update employment contracts
Implement HR systems for onboarding, HRIS and leave tracking.
Work with Finance/Operations to ensure efficient rostering and payroll compliance.

Growth & Expansion
· Assist with recruitment and onboarding for new venue openings.
· Help forecast staffing needs as the group expands.
· Support workforce planning in collaboration with Operations.
What We’re Looking For
· 2–3 years’ HR coordination/administration experience within the hospitality sector.
· Strong knowledge of Fair Work and the Restaurant Industry Award
· Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
· Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels.
· A hands-on, proactive approach and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
· Passionate about supporting people and growing culture in a fast-moving business.
