Melton is currently seeking a passionate and experienced Bachelor Qualified Early Education Teacher to join the team and help children shine brightly.

Little Stars Melton is a thriving community based childcare centre that offers direct access to a linked second yard and farm, featuring sheep, goats and chickens.

In order to have you begin on the right foot a $5K resource spend has been allocated once you have settled in (roughly at the 8 week mark)

We wish to hear from interested passionate Teachers who display a strong work ethic, with a high level of written and verbal communication skills, along with the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.

This role requires:

The implementation of the educational program and practice whilst achieving quality learning outcomes.

Using a wide range of teaching methods such as (stories, media, indoor or outdoor games, drawing etc.) To enhance individual children’s abilities.

creating and maintaining excellent relationships with children, families and other team members.

keeping records of children progression, routines and interests.

Ensuring compliance with ration policies, procedures and practices.

Candidate Requirements:

Current Working with Children’s Check.

VIT Registration

Current First Aid, CPR Certificates.

Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certificates

2 years’ experience working within an early childhood setting (preferred),

Proven experience in a similar role.

Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.

A demonstrated understanding of:

National Quality Framework (NQF),

Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF),

Child Protection & Safe Standards Training,

Workplace Health & Safety issues,

The ability to form warm and responsive relationships with children,

Ability to work and contribute to a team environment.
