Part-time: 37.5 hours per week (including planning time)
Start Date: December 2025 or January 2026
Pay: 10% above Award with a further 5% increase in December 2025. Hourly rate negotiable according to level and experience.

✨ About the Role

We are seeking a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to lead our 3-year-old kindergarten program.

In this role, you will:

Deliver a high-quality curriculum aligned with the EYLF, NQS, and Child Safe Standards.

Use School Readiness Funding strategically to meet curriculum and community needs.

Plan engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that inspire learning and growth.

Build strong relationships with families to extend children’s learning outcomes.

Lead, mentor, and support a team of three educators (including a second kinder teacher and a Cert III educator).

Create a stimulating, safe, and inclusive environment that fosters children's growth and development.

Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice.

Participate in paid compulsory meetings and PDs

Host biannual parent–teacher interviews and an annual information evening.

💡 Essential Attributes & Skills

Deep understanding of the EYLF and NQS.

Strong knowledge of the Child Safe Standards (CCYP).

Extensive experience delivering programs for 3–5-year-olds.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

A professional, mature, and reflective approach to teaching.

Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.

🎓 Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (No Graduate Diplomas – applications will not be considered).

Current VIT Registration (or working towards).

Up-to-date certifications: Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid.

Working With Children Check (WWCC).
