No two days are the same. You will partner with senior leaders and operational teams to foster a positive safety culture, proactively manage risks and investigate incidents to prevent recurrence.

Location: City of Melville Civic Centre
Salary: Up to $150,000.00 p.a. + 12% super
Employment Type: 3 Year Fixed Term, Full time
What You’ll Be Doing
Whilst no two days are the same. The role offers variety and the opportunity to make a real impact by:
Leading and managing the Workplace Health and Safety function
Ensuring practices are aligned with legislative and regulatory requirement
Influencing, empowering and partnering with stakeholders to be safe, be smart and be proud
What We’re Looking For
Current National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain
A passionate and experienced Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) leader with a track record of driving safety culture and delivering best-practice safety outcomes
Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and demonstrated experience in managing compliance, risk and incident investigations
Proven ability to lead and mentor a high-performing team while collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Ability to lead and influence positive change in a supportive, multidisciplinary team committed to continuous improvement in workplace health and safety

Your ability & experience to develop and implement effective WHS strategies in line with legislation and industry best practices

Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the capability to provide strategic advice and influence at all levels
Demonstrated experience in incident management, risk assessment, and compliance reporting, using data to drive safety improvements
