The Role
As the Senior Modern Workplace engineer, you will play a pivotal role in supporting enterprise clients through their Microsoft 365 journey. This includes onboarding new customers, leading complex technical escalations, and designing secure, scalable policies and processes.
The role demands someone with expert-level Intune skills, hands-on experience in device management through code, and strong proficiency in PowerShell and Microsoft Graph. You’ll collaborate with Solutions, Support, and Engineering teams, act as the final escalation point for complex issues, and help shape the future of client environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 3 support and act as the subject matter expert for Intune.
• Build, test, and configure Intune policies and processes.
• Lead onboarding of new enterprise clients to the platform.
• Monitor client environments and proactively identify issues.
• Work with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and tools.
• Document best practices, procedures, and product walkthroughs.
• Manage SLAs and respond to critical client requests.
• Support Customer Success with enrolments and requirements.

Requirements

• Deep expertise in Intune, Modern Workplace, and Microsoft 365 Cloud.
• Strong experience across multi-tenant environments (MSP exposure highly regarded).
• Proficiency in Entra ID, Active Directory, GPO management, and MDM cloud migrations.
• Skilled with PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, and Windows device management.
• Strong problem-solving ability and automation mindset.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Full working rights in Australia (no sponsorship available).

Desirable Skills

• GitHub experience (automation tools and contributions).
• Conditional Access and modern security practices.
• Intune application packaging.
• Knowledge of KQL, Azure Data Explorer, and Log Analytics.
• Microsoft certification: Modern Work Administrator Expert (MS-102, MD-102).
• Project management exposure.
• Willingness to pursue further certifications.
