The Opportunity

Aventedge organise conferences and events on a range of topics including women in leadership, HR & law, IT, affordable housing, aged care and Indigenous affairs.

The position of Outbound Delegate Sales Representative involves:

Developing a clear understanding of the events, the target market and value proposition

Researching accounts, email prospecting and account mapping

Calling guest speakers to discuss inviting attendees from their organisations, calling past attendees and self generated leads based on the research they have done

Building relationships with key accounts in their portfolio of events, leading to future account management opportunities

Following up with calls or emails to interested leads

Maintaining accurate sales activity and lead records in the company’s sales systems

Collaborating with team members to help develop the strategy for next year’s events.

This position may suit…

A motivated and ambitious salesperson with the determination to smash sales targets and achieve commission.

Ideally they will have:

Experience in a high-volume telephone based sales role

Confidence and experience in picking up the phone and calling potential leads

Resilience — Not afraid of knock backs and open to learning

A positive and proactive approach

Attention to detail and organisational skills

Motivation and the ability to self-lead in a hybrid work environment

An interest in business news and current affairs

Benefits & Salary

Hybrid working – 50% work from home and the other 50% in the office with view of Sydney Harbour, ping pong tables, casual dress code and social events.

Attractive salary package with uncapped earning potential. Base salary of $70,000 plus bonus’ if hitting targets. Potential to earn up $85,000 to $95,000 per year.

Possibility of interstate travel
