About the Role
This is a newly created opportunity for a motivated Construction Sales Executive to take ownership of the Sydney region. You’ll be working with a high volume of qualified inbound leads, supported by a strong internal team, and supported by a leadership group that values performance without micromanagement.
This role suits a motivated Sales Executive to take ownership of the Sydney region. The role involves working with clients on building concept and design, providing project consulting to deliver efficient solutions. With a steady flow of qualified inbound leads, strong internal support, and a leadership team that values performance without micromanagement, you can focus on guiding clients toward practical, effective outcomes.
Also involves occasional regional and interstate travel across Australia for client meetings and site visits, as well as regular visits to TechSpan’s Armidale head office for onboarding and team collaboration.
Day-to-day, you will:
Manage the full sales cycle from enquiry through to contract signing
Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships to drive repeat business and customer satisfaction
Conduct client site visits and present tailored solutions
Maintain a clean, up-to-date pipeline in the CRM (Pipedrive)
About You
We’re seeking a results-driven sales professional with a solid understanding of construction and a passion for delivering outcomes. You might already have a background in sales, estimating, or commercial construction delivery, or you could be looking to step up from a technical/trade background into a client-facing role.
You will be successful in this role if you:
Have 3–5+ years’ experience in construction sales, estimating, or project delivery (preferred but not essential) or a strong history of developing concept designs into fully priced proposals
Are confident reading and discussing construction drawings and methods
Communicate clearly and professionally—whether on site, over the phone, or in writing
Are organised, detail-focused, and keep your CRM and admin up to date
Are motivated by targets and comfortable managing a busy pipeline
Enjoy working independently but thrive on being part of a collaborative team
