About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Pinter Group as a Construction and Property Development Bookkeeper. Working on a casual basis, you will be responsible for the full cycle of bookkeeping for our construction and property development projects based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD.

What you'll be doing

Maintaining general ledgers and preparing financial statements

Reconciling bank accounts, credit cards, and other accounts

Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable

Assisting with payroll and employee expense reimbursements

Preparing and filing business activity statements and other tax returns

Providing ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards and regulations

Contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of the accounting function

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on bookkeeping experience, within the construction or property development industry

Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and compliance requirements

Proficient in the use of accounting software, such as MYOB or Xero
