The Role

You'll be trusted with your own client list spanning multiple industries and will be responsible for delivering high-quality bookkeeping services, including:

Bookkeeping, payroll, superannuation preparation, and BAS preparation

Troubleshooting complex client queries

Reviewing team members' work prior to lodgement

Onboarding new clients, including Xero health checks

Xero rescue work

Assisting with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and ad hoc client requests

Providing leadership and support to less experienced team members

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves (Non-Negotiable):

5+ years of bookkeeping experience

Proven ability to manage multiple client files simultaneously

Advanced Xero skills

Proven experience in BAS preparation and lodgement

Strong time management and deadline juggling skills

Excellent communication and attention to detail

Certificate IV in Bookkeeping

Legal right to work in Australia

Nice-to-Haves (Bonus Points):

Experience leading or mentoring a team

Cash flow forecasting & budgeting expertise

Strong procedure writing skills

Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems

Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills

BAS Agent registration
