As they continue to grow, they're seeking a Business Services Manager to step into a key leadership role within their Business Services & Corporate Tax team.
The Role
As Business Services Manager, you’ll work closely with Directors and clients to manage a diverse portfolio that blends compliance, strategic tax advisory, and consulting work. You’ll also play a leadership role in mentoring staff, contributing to technical development, and helping shape the firm's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the preparation and review of financial statements, income tax returns, and BAS across a portfolio including SMEs, large private groups, and some listed entities
- Provide expert advice on private and corporate tax matters, including pre-sale and pre-IPO structuring
- Participate in regular client meetings, building and maintaining strong, trusted relationships
- Collaborate on business advisory and tax planning projects, including innovation incentives, indirect tax, and international tax issues
- Oversee and mentor junior team members, contributing to a positive and supportive learning environment
- Assist with internal process improvements and strategic input as part of the leadership team
About You
- 8+ years’ experience in public practice accounting
- CA/CPA qualified
- Background in a Big 4, mid-tier, or high-performing boutique environment
- Strong technical knowledge across tax and compliance; exposure to corporate tax highly regarded
- Excellent communication skills and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Enjoy working closely with clients and mentoring junior staff
