The business is split into three divisions – Business Services, Audit and the newly opened, Wealth planning. You will be joining the team of 12 in the business services division. You will be providing a range of services in tax, audit, BAS, IAS and GST reconciliation, SMSFs and bookkeeping
THE POSITION
- You will be responsible for proactively managing a client base including establishing and maintaining key relationships with clients:
- Preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for companies and trusts, partnerships & individuals.
- Prepare, oversee, and advise on BAS, FBT, GST, Payroll Tax and statutory reporting requirements.
- Responsible for compliance and business advisory work.
- Assisting with tax planning, entity setups etc.
- Liaise effectively with external and internal stakeholders.
- Mentor and review work for junior members of staff.
- Ensure workflow efficiency, accuracy and deadlines are met.
- Manage and develop a team.
- Manage and lead internal projects.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- Will need to have 8+ years’ experience in tax and business services
- A minimum of 12 months experience working as a Manager.
- Will have completed their CA or CPA.
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
