Primary Objective
As the Policy and Quality Officer, you will provide technical guidance on the development, interpretation, and quality control of policies and procedures. You will work closely with document owners and stakeholders to implement and maintain Power and Water's Controlled Document Framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer the controlled document process, including quality assurance and register maintenance.
- Support independent compliance reporting to the Board, committees, and regulators.
- Assist in maintaining and updating the Compliance Management and Controlled Document Frameworks.
- Respond to internal customer requests regarding controlled documents and compliance matters.

Essential Skills & Experience:
- Ability to work independently and guide others on policy and procedure development.
- Strong planning and prioritisation skills in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to write clearly and engage across cultures.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving to evaluate policy impacts and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Experience in compliance monitoring, document register maintenance, and interpreting regulations.
Desirable:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in business administration, public policy, quality management, or similar.
- Experience in a regulated utility, government-owned corporation, or commercial environment.
