Andrews Accountants are seeking a client services and administration all-rounder to join our growing practice based in Singleton NSW. This position will involve supporting our client base and our professional accounting team.

The ideal candidate will possess:

Previous administrative experience (desirable)

A calm, confident, and friendly personality, with a pleasant phone manner and a willingness to learn

Intermediate computer literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office

Strong attention to detail, with a high-level of accuracy

Sound verbal and written communication skills

An ability to take initiative, be flexible/adaptable to change, and maintain a high standard of punctuality and reliability

Strong time management and organisational skills

An ability to work independently and within a team environment, and an openness to taking direction as needed

An ability to work under pressure at times, manage and prioritise multiple tasks, and meet deadlines

A professional work ethic and personal presentation

An ability to maintain confidentiality, and to handle sensitive information with discretion

A desire to build positive working relationships with staff, clients, and business associates

The role will involve:

Greeting and attending to incoming clients & visitors

Management and direction of incoming telephone calls and emails

Management of calendars and appointments for multiple professional accountants

Preparation of professional email correspondence, letters, invoices, and other various documents

Processing and receipting client payments

Management of incoming and outgoing paper mail (including sorting, scanning, distribution, and/or data entry and filing)

Client database maintenance and file creation

General office supply and stationery ordering

Liaising with clients, suppliers, government agencies, financial institutions, and/or other offices

Adhering to client confidentiality procedures

Providing clerical support to our professional accounting team and performing other various ad hoc administration tasks, as required

About the position:

This position is open to applicants seeking full-time employment (38 hours per week) and is available for an immediate start. Previous experience within a public accounting practice will be highly advantageous; however all training will be provided. Our office is open Monday to Friday between the hours of 8.30am - 5.00pm, and is based within an easily accessible location, with on-site parking available.
