City Vehicle Services is the RACQ Contractor in Townsville, and has been providing service to the RACQ Members since 1988.

THE JOB:

You will be a part of the team that provides 24 hour road side assistance to members in the Townsville region working on a rotating roster system. You don't need to be a fully qualified mechanic but you do need to know your way around a car and you definitely need to know the basics. You will be required to diagnose mechanical/electrical issues on all makes and models of vehicles, change a flat tyre and replace batteries. You will need to be able work independently.

SO WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Although you don't have to be a fully qualified mechanic, to be successful you need to have sound mechanical knowledge

Current Manual Drivers Licence

Own Basic Tools (vehicle is equipped with most items)

Great Customer Service

Good Computer Skills

Be able to work unsupervised

Be able to meet KPI's

Be able to work shift work, including weekends on a rotating roster
