About the role

Hypertuned Mackay is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team in Mackay, Queensland. This is a full-time role that will see you play a crucial part in ensuring our customers receive the highest level of service and satisfaction. This is a brand new business with emphasis on the JDM market, a genuine interest and experience in JDM vehicles is preferred but not essential.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming customers to our service centre

Listening to customer concerns and requirements to determine the nature of the service or repair needed

Preparing job cards and processing work orders

Providing customers with accurate estimates and timelines

Liaising with our mechanics to ensure timely completion of work

Maintaining detailed records of all customer interactions and work performed

Providing regular updates to customers on the progress of their vehicle

Upselling additional services and parts where appropriate

What we're looking for

2+ years' experience as a Service Advisor in the automotive industry

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong problem-solving and time management abilities

Familiarity with automotive parts, services and repair processes

Solid computer skills and experience with automotive management software

A professional, friendly and helpful attitude
