HOBAN Recruitment is seeking a skilled APS 5 level Case Manager / Paralegal / ART Support professional to provide high-quality assistance in the management of ART applications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing and assessing ART Applications submitted to our client.
- Creating, updating, and maintaining records in business systems.
- Preparing comprehensive ART case summaries to support allocation to ART case managers.
- Preparing and filing Tribunal documents within statutory timeframes.
- Supporting interlocutory applications and instructing internal lawyers as needed.
- Assessing and managing risk in processes, including privacy considerations and prioritisation.
- Researching and drafting responses to complaints, Ministerial and other correspondence.
- Assisting with the training and mentoring of new team members.

About You
You are a proactive, resilient, and detail-oriented professional with:
- Previous experience as a paralegal, law student, or legal administration professional.
- Understanding or ability to quickly learn legislation relevant to ART operations, including the relevant Acts.
- Strong records and information management skills, including handling sensitive documents and compliance with privacy standards.
- Knowledge of governance and compliance frameworks in administrative decision-making.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities and a high caseload efficiently.
- Empathy, compassion, and a participant-focused mindset.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and other relevant systems.
- Experience within dispute resolution environments, ART, or Disability Service Delivery/Reviews functions is highly desirable.
