Job description
Our Federal Government Client is seeking a Training and Development Coordinator who will support the Training Manager by planning and executing the training strategy for a Program. You’ll act as the vital link between the program and business, working closely with a diverse range of stakeholders to ensure fit for purpose materials are developed to support adoption. The successful candidates focus will be to create and support the delivery of tailored training materials and strategies that enhance people’s capabilities and drive adoption.
Key position responsibilities
- Innovate and lead creative training strategies under the guidance of the Training Manager to support digital transformation in a complex program environment, ensuring readiness for the new system.
- Collaborate with the Change Team to understand business requirements and assist in delivering change and training activities according to the overall Program schedule and approach
- Support the evaluation and analysis of training from current state to future states to support the transition, ensuring users are fully equipped
- Craft engaging and fit for purpose training materials
- Foster strong and meaningful relationships across the Program and business to ensure training activities are well understood and effectively adopted.
- Coordinate the training schedule to support change and business adoption activities
- Support the delivery of training sessions, both virtually and in-person, aligning with the training schedule and program needs
- Provide consistent reporting on training delivery, uptake, and success, validating outcomes with end users and their leaders
Mandatory requirements
- Proven ability to contribute to the full training cycle; assess needs, plan, develop, coordinate, monitor and evaluate
- Knowledge of how to understand and evaluate learner needs with the objective of delivering high level training and knowledge documents
- Experience developing fit-for-purpose training materials including guides, videos, and modules for diverse audiences
- Experience developing, delivering, and evaluating learning and development programs and initiatives
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills to support the assessment and planning of training strategies
- Understanding of Agile project delivery and change management frameworks, with experience in supporting training outcomes for large-scale programs
