About the Role:
Anglicare's Home and Community service offers a range of supports and assistance to a variety of local residents, including help at home, social inclusion and community connectedness.
Our Administration Officer is an integral role within the team. The overall purpose of the role is to provide quality operational administration support to the service. The Administration Officer is responsible for general administrative duties and promoting and contributing to a positive team environment within the Service.
Based within our Eight Mile Plains office, this role is a fixed-term permanent part-time position for 9 months, working 23 hours per week. No weekends required. If you're customer focused, looking for part-time hours and love working for a values based organisation then this is the role for you.
- Manage incoming calls and front office, as required
- Attend to filing and archiving of client information in accordance with Anglicare guidelines and procedures
- Data and word processing; mail and assisting with office equipment/supplies and stationery orders
About you:
- Demonstrated strong experience in a similar role, including front desk experience/knowledge, word processing and filing.
- A commitment to the importance of high quality client service and an ability to provide friendly and courteous service.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise, advise and work with staff, managers and clients at all levels and deal with complex and sensitive interpersonal matters.
- Ability to work effectively as a member of a team and contribute to a positive and successful work environment.
- Ability to assess priorities and manage competing deadlines both independently and as a member of a team.
Role Requirements:
- National Police check, or willingness to obtain
- Current drivers licence and own reliable vehicle
- Certificate in Business Administration or related disciple - desirable
- Demonstrated strong experience in a similar role, including front desk experience/knowledge, word processing and filing.
