Service Manager | Intensive Family Support Service | NTP
The People and Culture Office
Posted 4 days ago
Ngunytju Tjitji Pirni Aboriginal Corporation (NTP) is Aboriginal-led and guided by strong women with one clear purpose: Healthy women. Healthy children. Healthy families.
As our Service Manager, you’ll lead our Intensive Family Support Service — supporting parents and caregivers to keep children safe, strong, and connected. This is your chance to shape a service that places culture, respect, and community at the centre.
About the role:
This is a leadership role with heart. You’ll guide and mentor a small team of In Home Support Workers and a Data & Quality Coordinator, making sure they have the support and direction they need to do their best work. You’ll oversee referrals from the Department of Communities, coordinate case planning, and ensure families are receiving safe, strengths-based, and culturally respectful support.
Just as important, you’ll build trusted partnerships with Elders, local services, and agencies so families are surrounded with the right kind of wraparound care. You’ll also carry responsibility for reporting, risk management, and compliance — balancing accountability with the community-driven values that guide everything we do.
About you:
You’re a leader who knows that good leadership starts with listening. You care about people, you build trust naturally, and you aren’t afraid to make thoughtful decisions that put children’s safety first. You bring experience in community services, family support, or leadership — whether that’s through formal qualifications, lived experience, or both.
You have a solid understanding of trauma-informed practice, and you can support a team through the challenges of frontline work with empathy and strength. Above all, you’re committed to Aboriginal-led solutions, and you believe that culture, respect, and connection are central to keeping families safe and strong.
This position is full time, Level 6 of the SCHADS Award. You’ll join NTP on a maximum term contract of up to 5 years, providing job security that aligns with our government funding agreement. This contract structure complies with the Fair Work Act Fixed Term contracts and ensures stability for both our team and the families we support.
If you’re ready to step into a leadership role where people and purpose come first, we’d love to hear from you. Applications are to be submitted via our HR business partner, The People & Culture Office: [email protected]
Haven’t quite got the experience but know you can make an impact? That’s ok – we’re looking for a leader who cares about people, not just a list of skills.
Applications close Friday 3 October 2025, shortlisting may commence earlier.
