You can find our lovely Service in the old Pizza Hut building on the corner of Hannan and Congdon St.

Our service is looking for a dynamic, confident and experienced leader in the Early Childhood Industry to join our management team as a Assistant Service Manager. Someone who strives to excel and leads by example, setting high industry standards for their team.

Sponsorship available for Candidates with correct Experience and Qualifications and already living in Australia and willing to relocate to Kalgoorlie.

Salary: $38.15 - $39.39 (hourly)

Essential Qualifications

Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent qualification as recognized by ACECQA.

A current and valid Blue card.

First Aid Certificate including training in asthma and anaphylaxis.

Australian work rights (sponsorship available for suitable candidates already residing in Australia).

Skills and Attributes

Understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS) to assist in ensuring quality practices and outcomes.

Ability to support, mentor and lead a team of educators in the absence of the Service Manager.

Capability to assist in managing daily operations, from staffing to parent communications.

Ability to effectively address and resolve issues that may arise within the service.

Experience in a Service 2IC, Assistant Director, Assistant Service Manager or similar role within an early childhood setting.

Proficiency in using relevant management software and tools for communication, documentation and reporting.

Skills to address and mediate challenges or disputes that might arise among staff or with families.
