Project Manager - Commercial Panel Install

About the role
A Tier 2 Contractor that delivers a range of Industrial and Commercial projects is seeking for an experienced Panel Install Manager to join their team in Brisbane. The candidate will be responsible for Insulated Panel and Racking projects ranging from $10,000 - $2m.
The successful applicant is responsible for organizing and leading the branch installations team, ensuring that all projects are installed according to company standards.

You will be given all the support and training required to perform your role to the highest standard as well as the freedom to make the role your own. The role is a mixture of office and site based that offers a competitive package.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate cool store panel installations
• Evaluate and manage the resources and processes required for the successful completion of a high volume of store panel projects.
• Drive continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Customer Service, and Productivity throughout the installation process.
• Ensure that every member of the installation team receives the proper safety training and follows Standard Operating Procedures for Safety.
• Provide technical assistance to installers and technicians
• Estimate materials, equipment, and personnel needed for installation projects.
• Identify means to reduce costs, minimize risks, or increase efficiency of solar installation projects.
• Assures the quality of work produced is acceptable to company standards and specifications.

What do you need?

• 2-5 years’ experience in a supervisor role with exposure to industrial, food manufacturing and / or commercial projects
• JobPac (or similar Construction software) and Procore experience desirable
• A stable track record in installation on industrial building projects
• Ability to read and interpret job orders, understands specifications
• Possess a wide range of carpentry skills to provide accurate remote job assessment
• A natural ability to drive the project forward all the while maintaining and developing relationships with subcontractors, consultants and clients alike.
• Excellent communication and management skills.
• Current drivers’ license & reliable transport
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
