About the Role
This specific casual role works as a part of our Medico-legal reporting team, completing casual reporting assignments for personal injury matters, on a case by case basis. This role can be completed alongside an existing role, or as a flexible, stand alone position.
Providing the ultimate combination of flexibility and an excellent hourly rate, initial assignments will be completed at $100 plus Superannuation, progressing to $115 plus Superannuation.
Your experience with a wide variety of clinical presentations, or your niche skills in a specific area of expertise will ensure you are well placed to deal with assessments and reports in the areas of:
- Workers compensation
- Motor Vehicle Accidents
- Medical Negligence
- Family Provisions Act claims
Our assignments originate from Personal Injury Lawyers, our contract with The Public Trustee, Private Trustee, The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and more.
About you
Qualifications, skills and experience.
Previous experience in Medico-legal reporting (however training can be provided for applicants suitable in other areas)
Tertiary qualification (Occupational Therapy)
Ability to work in a team & individually
Ability to build rapport with a diverse range of customers
Experience working with customers with complex support needs
Driven, energetic & committed
Strong communication skills
Excellent administrative and written communication skills including experience in report writing in a clinical sense.
Positive and friendly personality, who is open, flexible and willing to be part of an innovative and supportive team who work together
Current driver's licence (essential)
Mental Health expertise (desirable)
Experience in Acquired Brain Injury or Spinal Injury (desirable)
Experience with a wide variety of physical and acquired disabilities (desirable)
Experience in mental health and psychosocial disability (desirable)
Working with Children check and current police check (essential or willing to obtain)
This role is scheduled to commence in November 2025; by negotiation.
