The service provides more than 110,000 home care visits each year and provides nursing, midwifery and lactation support, and allied health services in the home.
Your role at St John of God Healthcare at Home
We are seeking applications from Senior Occupational Therapists to join our Rehab at Home service, on a casual basis.
We are the At-Home Team for each of the SJOG hospitals across WA and work out of the Mt Lawley hospital, Midland Hospital and Murdoch hospital to accommodate most metro areas.
The employment is on a casual basis with an expectation of 1-2 shifts weekly depending on caseload.
The Position
- Provides clinical services to client/patient groups and circumstances of a complex nature requiring advanced Occupational Therapy practice skills.
- Responsible for completing appropriate administrative duties. This requires liaison with the administration team, reporting of statistical data and completion of clinical documentation.
- Patients'/clients plans and outcomes are regularly monitored through attendance at and participation in clinical team meetings as required.
- Active participation in the multidisciplinary team.
- Referrals to external agencies are initiated in a timely manner.
- Uses an evidence-based, problem-solving approach to clinical care and service development.
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist with a tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Occupational Therapists with RITH, community care and/or home visiting experience are encouraged to apply. Hospital experience is not necessary.
Successful applicants must hold a current WA Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check.

- Hourly rate: $79.75 to $85.04 (inclusive of casual loading) plus 12% Superannuation
