Be Recruitment is seeking passionate and skilled Disability Support Workers to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care people with complex needs and mental health conditions

This role is within a residential care setting and requires candidates to hold a Certificate 3 in a related field – this is non-negotiable.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in supporting Adults who have experienced significant trauma, disabilities, and mental health conditions.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:

• Behavioural management (physical and verbal aggression, property damage, absconding and sexualised behaviours)
• Work in a recovery-focused way
• Coordinate and implement social outings
• Day to day living support
• Personal Care
• Diabetes management
• Manual Handling
• Complete detailed shift notes and incident reports.

Key Requirements

Certificate 3 minimum in a related field – mandatory

Minimum six months of paid experience working as a Support Worker in the Disability Space – mandatory

NDIS workers check

Full NSW Driver’s Licence

Current First Aid and CPR certification

Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Willingness to undergo a National Police Check

COVID-19 vaccination x3 or valid medical exemption

Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers
