Executive Assistant to General Manager
Location: Nathalia, Regional Victoria
Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 + Superannuation
Work Arrangement: Full-time | Onsite, Monday to Friday
Are you a seasoned Executive Assistant with a strategic mindset and a passion for making things run smoothly at the top? Do you thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same? We are seeking an experienced EA to act as the strategic right hand to a forward-thinking General Manager and provide support to a high-performing Advisory Board.
This is not your average assistant role. We’re looking for someone who brings structure, foresight, and operational sharpness—someone who knows how to anticipate needs, protect time, and keep priorities on track. Based in Nathalia, in the heart of regional Victoria, this role offers the chance to become part of a purpose-led agribusiness making a significant impact in the Australian feed and grain industry.
About the Role As Executive Assistant, you will:
- Act as the primary gatekeeper and support for the GM’s time, communications, and strategic initiatives.
- Coordinate Board and governance activities with precision and professionalism.
- Manage travel, meetings, calendars, events, and stakeholder communications.
- Own and improve key operational systems and processes—leveraging tools like Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Power Automate.
- Bring visibility and alignment to projects across business and personal ventures.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage complex calendars for the GM and Advisory Board, including scheduling, prioritisation, and travel planning.
- Triage and manage email communications; draft correspondence and coordinate responses.
- Organise internal and external meetings with clear agendas, follow-ups, and accountability tracking.
- Provide end-to-end travel and event planning support for the GM and Board.
- Track budgets and expenses, maintain timesheets, employee records, and payroll-related tasks.
- Streamline operations using digital tools and maintain internal SOPs.
What You’ll Bring
- 5–7 years’ experience in a senior-level Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff-style role.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently at all levels.
- High discretion and sound judgement in handling sensitive and confidential matters.
- Proactive mindset with strong time management and organisational skills.
- Tech-savvy and experienced with Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint).
- Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with executive priorities.
Why Join Us? You’ll be joining a proud, Australian-owned agribusiness that’s deeply connected to the farming community and committed to producing quality, sustainable feed solutions. With deep roots in the Goulburn Valley, this business has grown steadily while maintaining a strong culture of integrity, innovation, and family values.
In this role, you’ll be more than an assistant—you’ll be a trusted strategic partner helping shape and support the future direction of a thriving regional business.
