Roper Gulf Regional Council is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Contracts Coordinator to join our Infrastructure Services & Planning team. Based in Katherine, this role plays a key part in managing and coordinating Northern Territory Government contracts to ensure the Council’s financial sustainability and service excellence across the region.
About the Role
As Contracts Coordinator, you will provide specialist contract administration and support across multiple programs. You’ll work closely with internal business units and external stakeholders to ensure contracts are delivered efficiently, KPIs are met, and reporting is completed to a high standard. This role also involves financial oversight, staff coordination, and contributing to strategic planning and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and monitor contract performance, reporting, and compliance.
Liaise with stakeholders to resolve technical, financial, and scheduling issues.
Support budgeting, invoicing, procurement, and office management systems.
Assist with tender submissions, quotations, and development of standard operating procedures.
Promote effective communication and collaboration across departments.
Salary & Benefits
Base Salary: $101,512.29– $111,692.94per annum (depending on experience)
