Roper Gulf Regional Council is looking for a dedicated and community-focused Aged Care and Disability Coordinator to oversee the delivery of aged care and NDIS services at Numbulwar .
About the Role
As the Aged Care and Disability Coordinator, you will work closely with community teams and the Aged Care and Disability Manager to ensure high-quality, culturally appropriate services are delivered to clients under the CHSP, HCP, and NDIS programs.
You will be responsible for coordinating staffing, resources, reporting, and compliance requirements while supporting the wellbeing of vulnerable clients and mentoring frontline staff. This position also plays a key role in promoting continuous improvement and supporting the strategic growth of services .
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and oversee aged care and NDIS services across multiple communities
Support local teams and ensure service continuity, quality, and compliance
Manage client files, budgets, equipment, and staffing levels
Assist in service planning, resource management, and program reporting
Maintain accurate documentation in systems such as PRODA, MAC, SharePoint, and others
Work collaboratively across departments and support community engagement
Ensure facilities and food preparation services comply with required standards
Support recruitment, training, and performance management processes for service staff
What We're Looking For
Tertiary qualification in Social Sciences, Aged Care, Health, Nursing, or similar
Experience coordinating aged care/disability programs or working with vulnerable populations
Understanding of First Nations cultures and experience working in remote or cross-cultural settings
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Knowledge of case management and care planning
Competency in Microsoft Office and online service portals (e.g. Medicare, PRODA)
Salary & Benefits
Base Salary: $89,905.15 - 98,881.53 per annum (depending on experience)
