- Permanent Full-Time – 35 hours per week
- Attractive salary ranging from $1,493.80 up to $1,717.70

Join Moree Plains Shire Council as our Executive Assistant (Infrastructure) and play a pivotal role in supporting the Director Infrastructure and Executive Leadership Team. This position is integral in ensuring the smooth and efficient delivery of Council’s operations, services, and strategic objectives.
You will:
Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Director and leadership team.
Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, minutes, and business papers, and ensure compliance with strict timelines.
Draft, proof, and finalise correspondence and reports with accuracy and professionalism.
Manage the Director’s diary, coordinate travel, and oversee departmental communications.
Support budget processes, purchase orders, reconciliations, and project reporting.
Assist with stakeholder engagement, enquiries, and complaints while maintaining confidentiality.
Collaborate with other Executive Assistants to ensure consistency and efficiency across Council.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certificate IV in Business Administration / Frontline Management or equivalent qualification and/or extensive office administration experience.
Strong organisational and time management skills, with proven ability to prioritise competing demands, exercise sound judgement, and work independently.
Demonstrated experience in:
Providing high-level secretarial and executive support.
Drafting and preparing correspondence, agendas, minutes, and reports.
Delivering quality customer service.
Applying sound record-keeping and document management procedures.
Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive stakeholder relationships, resolve conflict constructively, and maintain professionalism under pressure.
Demonstrated commitment to service excellence, accuracy, and responsiveness.
Flexibility to attend meetings outside standard office hours as required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, Access).
Current NSW Class C Driver Licence.
