At Tree & Tribe, we are a family-owned business, operating in Melbourne and Adelaide. We provide property styling to Retirement Villages and Residential Homes, and pride ourselves on delivering an exceptional experience every time.

We are now seeking an Assistant Stylist to join our Melbourne team. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about interiors and styling, eager to learn, and excited to grow within a supportive and creative environment.

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic individual who is:

Passionate about property styling and interiors, with a natural eye for aesthetics

Physically fit and ready to take on an active role (property styling is physical work!)

A great communicator and team player

Most importantly, you'll bring a 'can-do' attitude and a willingness to grow with the business.

REQUIREMENTS

Some styling, interiors or retail/homewares experience (preferred but not essential – we will provide training!)

Current driver's licence and access to a car

Excellent communication and people skills

Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet

Flexibility to work across different locations in Melbourne, Geelong and surrounding areas.

Australian work authorisation is required for this position

DESIRABLE

Interior decoration/styling studies or qualification (or currently studying)

Experience in customer service, retail, or visual merchandising

An eye for detail and a natural sense of style

THE ROLE

Work closely with senior stylists to bring spaces to life.

Assist with installations, removals and relocations of styling packages

Help unpack and prepare styling packages in the warehouse

Support with warehouse organisation, stock handling and general upkeep

Ensure smooth packing, unpacking and care of furniture and accessories

Provide excellent service to clients and represent the Tree & Tribe brand with professionalism and enthusiasm

Gaining hands-on experience in every part of the property styling process.

This role offers flexibility, with hours and shifts varying depending on business needs. Please note that 7.30-8am starts are required, and out-of-school hours are required.

Minimum working hours for this casual role are 5-10 hours per week.
